Beautiful Blue

I know it's been way too long, but I saw this beautiful Edsel convertible the other day.

I may have melted a little when I saw it.
I was hoping to go to the Good Guys Car Show this year and share pictures, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen.Beaut

A few sweet rides

It's only been 4 years since I posted. I don't see cool cars anymore. But, the Good Guys car show is next weekend, so here's a few of my favorite rides (most pics from a Good Guys show).
1967 Chevy Camaro:
 1971 Chevy Chevelle:
 Beautiful color on this one.
Dodge Challenger
 Another gorgeous color.
Chevy Corvette:
 Chevy Malibu:
 Ford Mustang:
Doesn't it look a lot like Eleanor?
Chevy Nova:
My favorite car, nice color on this one.
How about some aircraft carriers:
 A whole fleet, maybe
And an Apache helicopter:
 'Cuda:
Looks a lot like the one they used in Nash Bridges.
Dodge Ram:
One of my friends had a truck that looked a lot like this one
An F18:
Someone got the money shot on this one.
And another one:
This is currently the background on my computer.

Something new

It's been way too long since I updated this site. I admit I haven't paid much attention to it, I'll try to do better in the future. I'm trying to remember to take my camera out with me more often. Tonight, we had a bike night downtown, and I wandered through. I really miss that atmosphere, sadly I don't know anyone that rides anymore so I don't get to go on rides. I really miss it, so much that I can't even watch Easy Rider anymore, I can't part with it (or my helmet), but I sure can't watch it.
I don't have much commentary for the bikes below, so just enjoy the pics.

Here's a couple pics of looking down Main Street at the bikes.

 And a side street:
And a few bikes I liked, this one was such a nice shade of purple:
I liked the matte paint job on this one.
 Here's some sweet flames
 And the nice sparkly blue
This last one has some great flames, too.
I think I'm gonna spread these out a little, if I don't it might be another 8 years before I update (I hope not)

I miss this girl:
I really miss that shirt too, I don't know what happened to it. Last time I saw it, I had taken it off in my closet cause I was hot, it's disappeared into the black hole in my closet.

I wouldn't mind a nice long motorcycle ride for my birthday, that would be a nice present.

Labor Day car show

I sure haven't posted anything on here in a long while, but since people still like to look, I've kept it up. For Labor Day, there was a car show on Main Street in my town, so you'll get to see some new pictures. I tried to crop them so you couldn't see the other stuff around them, but you know people walk buy some times.
Personally, I don't give a damn about what's under the hood and would love to just ogle at the car itselt, but they always have to show the engine. I'm not sure what all these are, if you know, please let me know in the comments.
Enjoy!
 My old favorite: a corvette
Chevelle, I believe, pretty ugly color though
Challenger? But in a beautiful green of the 70's, there was a new challenger, but I'm not particularly fond of those, especially when I get to choose between old and new
Ok, maybe this is the Challenger, I don't know. I think one's a Challenger and one's a 'Cuda, but I don't know. I did the day I took the pictures, cause I could look at them up close.
 Mustang
 ????
Oldsmobile

A few new cars

Last weekend, my parents and I went up to Lake Okoboji. We caught the very end of a car show. Here are 2 of my favs. A Chevy Chevelle SS.
And a Plymouth Roadrunner

I also spied this Cadillac DeVille parked in the condo parking lot.

Some new ones

These were taken from a Labor Day car show downtown last Sept. Not sure what year, but a really nice Mustang with extra powerful motor
I wanna say it's a Chevy pickup, but I have no idea, I loved the paint job and the cover on the bed.
Another old truck, not at the car show, but parked in the grocery store I passed on the way to the car show.

Dedicated to those who serve

The American Revolution
The War of 1812
The Mexican-American War
The Civil War
The Spanish-American War
World War I
World War II
The Korean War
The Vietnam War
Desert Storm
Operation Enduring Freedom
Iraqi Freedom

Soldiers have fought and are fighting around the world for us to be free to think, say, do, believe what ever we want, however we want.

Memorial Day is a day to remember all the people who fought for our freedom from 1792 until now. Please take a moment sometime in your day and think of them, thank them for what they have done and are doing for us.

I know lots of people are all excited because they get a 3-day weekend, time to grill outside and get together because you get the day off from work and get to hang out with your family. I'd think some time in this 3 day weekend you could think about those soldiers who are fighting for your freedom, attend your city's Memorial Day parade/ceremony, go to your local cemetary and find the veteran's graves, go to your local veteran's memorial, or even just stop a moment and say a silent thank you. Do something to remember them.
